Yes! XHHW-2 features cross-linked polyethylene insulation dual-rated for wet and dry locations up to 90°C. It offers superior moisture and heat resistance for underground conduit runs (such as Schedule 40/80 PVC) where water condensation collects over time.
Note: XHHW-2 single conductors must be installed inside an approved raceway when placed underground, as they are not rated for direct burial without conduit.
