This 2/0 AWG 4-conductor Priority-Plex® assembly with an integrated #4 AWG Ground is a versatile, high-efficiency feeder solution for 277/480V 3-phase, 4-wire systems. By factory-twisting the phases (Brown, Orange, Yellow), the neutral (Gray), and a #4 AWG Green ground, this cable provides a complete "ready-to-pull" circuit that significantly reduces installation labor and job site waste.
At the 2/0 gauge, aluminum conductors are flexible but can still become a tangled mess when pulled as individual strands from multiple reels. Priority-Plex® technology eliminates "spiraling" and uneven tension. The twisted geometry ensures that the entire bundle moves as a single unit, which lowers the coefficient of friction and helps prevent insulation damage during tight turns in the conduit run.
Optimized Grounding: The #4 AWG Green ground is factory-integrated and sized to meet NEC requirements for standard 2/0 aluminum circuits, providing a safe and reliable low-impedance ground path.
Rapid Installation: One reel replaces five. This reduces setup time, requires fewer jack stands, and allows a smaller crew to manage commercial or industrial pulls with ease.
480V Phase Identification: Permanent, factory-colored insulation (Brown, Orange, Yellow, Gray, Green) provides instant identification. This removes the labor of field-taping and minimizes the risk of phase-rotation or grounding errors.
Rugged XHHW-2 Performance: The XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) insulation is tougher than standard PVC, offering high resistance to moisture and heat (rated 90°C), which is essential for long-term reliability in industrial feeders.
