APPLICATION:
Tray Cable UL Type TC / TC-ER with THHN/THWN-2 Insulation is primarily used for power, control, signal, communication, and lighting circuits in commercial and industrial environments. Suitable for installations in cable trays, supported by messenger wire in open air, raceways, channels, conduits and ducts, direct burial applications not exceeding 600 volts.
CONDUCTORS:
Soft or annealed bare copper per ASTM B3 and B8 compressed in Class B stranding.
COLOR CODE:
2 black conductors with printed white numbers 1 and 2.
INSULATION:
THHN/THWN-2 Heat and moisture resistant Polyvinylchloride (PVC) with a Nylon jacket, per UL 83.
JACKET:
Flame and sunlight resistant black PVC rated 90°C wet or dry per UL 1277. Ripcord provided for jackets with thickness of 60 mils or less.
ASSEMBLY:
Conductors are cabled together with or without fillers as required to form a round, compact cable core with a binder tape.
