Specifically configured for 480V high-voltage commercial and industrial systems, this 750 MCM Priority-Plex® assembly is a massive-scale power solution that prioritizes installer safety and job site efficiency. By factory-twisting three high-capacity phase conductors into a single, cohesive unit, it eliminates the extreme physical burden of managing three separate 750 MCM reels and manual wire paralleling, ensuring a more controlled and synchronized installation.
At the 750 MCM level, traditional pulls are fraught with logistical risks, including uneven tension and excessive friction. The Priority-Plex® system utilizes a precision-twisted geometry to distribute pulling forces evenly across the entire bundle. This significantly reduces the sidewall pressure within the conduit, protecting the insulation from damage during high-stress turns in industrial raceways.
High-Voltage Phase Management: Features Brown, Orange, and Yellow conductors for immediate identification in 480/277V systems, streamlining termination in high-voltage switchgear.
Logistical Footprint Reduction: Consolidating three heavy-gauge leads onto a single reel drastically reduces the equipment overhead and setup time required for primary feeder pulls.
Superior XHHW-2 Durability: The cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) insulation is engineered for maximum heat dissipation and long-term resistance to environmental stress.

This 750 MCM, 3-conductor assembly is specifically color-coded for high-voltage (277/480V) 3-phase systems. Unlike the standard residential Black/Red/White coding, the Brown, Orange, and Yellow phases are the industry standard for identifying high-leg or 480V industrial power. It is primarily used as a main feeder for heavy industrial equipment, large motor control centers, and commercial power distribution in facilities with massive electrical demands.
At the 750 MCM gauge, managing three separate conductors is a massive logistical challenge. Priority-Plex® factory-twists these conductors into a single, synchronized bundle.
In 480V systems carrying several hundred amps, heat management is the top priority. XHHW-2 uses Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE), a thermoset material that offers several advantages over standard PVC:
Per NEC Table 310.16, the ampacity for 750 MCM Aluminum is determined by the temperature rating of the equipment terminations:
⚠️ PRO TIP: Because this is a 3-conductor "All Hot" phase assembly (un-grounded wye or delta system), all three conductors are current-carrying. If you are pulling more than three current-carrying conductors in a single conduit, you must apply adjustment factors per NEC 310.15(C)(1).
