This makes it the industry-standard conductor for 150-amp feeders and services. We always recommend confirming wire size with a licensed electrician before purchasing.
For a standard 4-wire run, a 2-inch conduit is highly recommended. While it can technically fit in a 1.5-inch pipe, the 2-inch size provides the necessary clearance for a safe pull, especially when navigating 90-degree bends in heavy commercial or underground runs.

No. Like all THHN/THWN-2 products, 1/0 must be installed in conduit for all underground applications. For direct burial without conduit, you must use Type USE-2 or Aluminum URD.
