Specifically engineered for high-amperage power distribution, this Priority-Plex® twisted feeder cable streamlines installations in demanding residential and commercial environments. By pre-twisting two phase conductors and a dedicated neutral into a cohesive unit, this 1/0 AWG assembly removes the logistical headache of managing multiple reels and manual wire paralleling, resulting in significant labor savings and increased job site safety.
This 3-conductor assembly (Black, Red, and White) is a robust solution for medium-to-large secondary service entries. The Priority-Plex® technology ensures that the conductors remain tightly bundled during the pull, reducing the risk of individual conductor damage and simplifying cable management in enclosures.
Priority-Plex® Design: Eliminates the "bird-caging" and tangling common with loose conductors, allowing for a smooth, single-operator pull.
Streamlined Identification: Includes Black and Red phase conductors with a dedicated White neutral for rapid identification and compliance with electrical standards.

This 1/0 AWG (pronounced "one-aught"), 3-conductor assembly is a heavy-duty feeder cable designed for high-amperage residential and commercial power distribution. It is most frequently used for 125A to 150A residential service entrances and main sub-panel feeds. The XHHW-2 rating ensures it can be installed in conduit in both wet and dry locations, making it ideal for underground service laterals.
Priority-Plex® is a specialized manufacturing process where the conductors are pre-twisted (cabled) together at the factory.
At the 1/0 gauge, aluminum offers an optimal balance of high ampacity and low cost compared to copper.
According to NEC Table 310.16, the ampacity for 1/0 Aluminum depends on the temperature rating of the equipment terminations:
⚠️ PRO TIP: Most modern main breakers and distribution panels are rated for 75°C. Therefore, in most commercial/industrial applications, this cable is treated as a 120 Amp feeder. However, for residential service entrance applications, NEC 310.12 may allow higher ratings (often up to 150A) depending on the total load of the dwelling.
