18-10C Thermostat Wire is a multi-conductor cable specifically designed for low-voltage, power-limited circuits. It features 18 AWG solid copper conductors and is commonly used in HVAC systems, alarm systems, and other control applications. Its durable PVC jacket provides robust protection for both indoor and outdoor installations.
This thermostat wire is ideal for power-limited circuits in various systems, including thermostats, air conditioning units, heat pumps, bell and alarm systems, signal systems, doorbells, and remote control units. It is suitable for applications where the voltage does not exceed 300 volts.
This 18-10C Thermostat Wire features 10 conductors. While basic systems might use fewer, 10 conductors provide ample capacity for complex HVAC setups, multi-stage heating/cooling, heat pumps with auxiliary heat, or systems integrating humidifiers, dehumidifiers, or zoning controls. Running extra conductors can also future-proof your installation for potential upgrades.
The 18-10C Thermostat Wire has a voltage rating that does not exceed 300 volts. While control signals in HVAC systems typically operate at 24 volts, this higher rating ensures superior insulation and a high safety margin for low-voltage applications.
